Information for Visitors
ENTRANCE FEE:
None
HOURS:
Monday - Friday: 9:00-4:00
Weekends, Holidays: Closed
IDENTIFICATION:
Nobody asked me to show my ID when I signed into the building, but it is probably not a bad idea to bring your Haverford ID or other photo ID.
CAMERAS AND LAPTOPS:
Personal digital cameras and laptops are allowed.
GENERAL PROCEDURE:
- Researchers must sign in at the entrance to the Friends Center each day. When you visit for the first time, it is a good idea to ask for directions to the Archives: it is not immediately obvious how to get to them.
- You may bring your bag (with laptop and camera) into the archive.
- Food and drink are allowed in the Center.
- The AFSC Archives do not have a reading room. Instead, the archivist will give you a desk, either in the archives themselves or in a cubicle right outside the entrance into the archives.
APPPOINTMENTS:
You should email the archivist before visiting the AFSC archives to set up a time for you to visit.
